Course outline
The course is in 5 lessons
Materials are documents, audio recording, and video demonstration
Students will learn Tongan nursery rhymes, alphabet, diction, simple vocabulary, and dancing
After each lesson, there is an assignment.
There will be a zoom conference after students have covered Lesson 2
Lesson 5 is a zoom conference where students are to deliver a simple introduction of themselves in Tongan and also perform 1 verse of the ‘Otuhaka
Once these assignments are completed, then the student will receive the next lesson
Outcome
For lesson 5, a zoom meeting is held where the student is expected to present final work
We expect students to deliver a simple speech introducing themselves at Lesson 5
We expect students to answer a few simple questions at Lesson 5
We expect students to perform a verse of the ancient dance ‘Otuhaka
Awarded with a certificate
